Plastic Recycling

Most forms of plastic degrade very slowly and produce potentially hazardous chemicals into the environment.  Recycling plastic is critical to reduce the impact on landfills and the environment. Left over plastic scrap from manufacturing and packaging process can quickly build up taking up valuable space and requiring extra efforts to manage.

Many recycling facilities are not equipped to handle large quantities or the many different varieties of plastic.  Plastic scrap is melted or reground into pellets, which is recycled in a variety of ways.

Recyclable Plastics:

  • High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Polycarbonate/ABS
  • Acrylic
  • PC
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
